How to get married in Yosemite National park

Decide on a date and time to get married in Yosemite. When considering the date keep in mind that
Yosemite has 4 full seasons. This makes for a vastly different color scheme throughout the year. From
photographing spring's rushing waterfalls to crisp autumn foliage to snow-covered ranges, I've
learned quite a few tips over the years about Yosemite’s lighting! Feel free to ask some questions.

There are twelve locations within Yosemite National Park that are permitted for wedding and
elopement ceremonies. Each location has a maximum capacity, for preservation and noise
purposes. Deciding on the location is a personal decision. Some couples prefer a stunning view at
Glacier Point, while others prefer a quiet place along the river. I am happy to discuss these locations
with you as I have photographed at all 12. Yosemite also offers a few large hotel venues which host

It's important to note that you will need to obtain a permit to have a ceremony in Yosemite National

All couples who wish to get married in California must obtain a California marriage license anywhere within the state of California. Once you get your California marriage license, you must get married within 30 days of issuance. Below are 2 links to further assist you in planning.
