Decide on a date and time to get married in Yosemite. When considering the date keep in mind that Yosemite has 4 full seasons, which makes for a vastly different color scheme 4 times a year. From rushing waterfalls in the Spring to crisp Autumn foliage to snow-covered ranges! Also consider lighting, sunrises, and sunset. There are a few tips that I've learned over the years about Yosemite lighting.
Feel free to ask me some questions.

There are twelve locations within Yosemite National Park that are permitted for wedding and
elopement ceremonies. Each location has a maximum capacity, for preservation and noise
purposes. Deciding on the location is a personal decision. Some couples prefer a stunning view at
Glacier Point, while others prefer a quiet place along the river. I am happy to discuss these locations with you as I have photographed at all 12. Yosemite also offers a few large hotel venues which host weddings, such as the historic Ahwahnee Hotel. I've created a full webpage dedicated to the topic of location loaded with photos and details. You can check it out by clicking the button below!

It's important to note that you will need to obtain a permit to have a ceremony in Yosemite National
Park. Fortunately, the permit process is really easy! Click the link below to apply directly through the
National Park Service website.
